|
The Squirt is a skills development program for young players. The object of the program is to teach all participants ball hockey skills while having fun.
Parents are asked to have their children at the rink 10 minutes prior to their scheduled practice time. Although we have a lead instructor, we need parents to help in the drills, so we ask that one parent of each child bring along a hockey stick and help with the instructions and supervision of the children. With the large number of children in each group we can only allow one parent per child on the floor at any one time and all other family members are asked to watch from the stands. This year our program has 11 dates in total (9 Wednesdays dates along with 1 Tuesday and 1 Thursday date) and concludes on July 7. All Mini-Tyke practices will be held at the Bradford District CC. Each child receives a Jersey, Shorts and matching Socks for the season. They are to wear during each practice and it is theirs to keep at the end of the season. REMEMBER WE ARE HERE TO HAVE FUN, LEARN NEW SKILLS AND MAKE FRIENDS. |
